Terms & Conditions (T&Cs)

The following terms and conditions are applicable to all services provided by Swiss Technology Engineering Singapore Pte Ltd (“the Company”). By engaging our services, accepting a quotation, or allowing works to commence, the Client agrees to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.

1. Scope of Services

1.1. The services do not include the supply of additional equipment, materials, or accessories unless specifically stated in the quotation.

1.2. The maintenance service excludes dismantling, replacement, or installation of additional, nearby, or overhead pipes, fittings, or related works. Any such works, if required, shall be quoted separately.

1.3. The provision of additional access equipment, including but not limited to metal staging or scaffolding required under EHS regulations, is excluded unless stated otherwise and shall be quoted separately if required.

1.4. Utility supplies required for the works, including water and electrical supply, shall be provided by the Client at site.

1.5. The Client shall ensure the availability of the following site services prior to commencement of works:
1.5.1. Water supply
1.5.2. Electrical supply

2. Service Limitations

2.1. In the event that unforeseen conditions or obstructions are encountered (including but not limited to broken, collapsed, or inaccessible pipes), Swiss Technology Engineering Singapore Pte Ltd shall notify the Client accordingly. Works shall continue only in areas where it is safe and reasonably practicable to do so.

2.2. Swiss Technology Engineering Singapore Pte Ltd shall not be held responsible for delays arising from such obstructions or unforeseen site conditions.

3. Liability & Responsibility

3.1. Swiss Technology Engineering Singapore Pte Ltd shall not be responsible for any defects, failures, or damages arising from existing wear and tear, ageing, corrosion, improper maintenance, or inherent defects within the plumbing and sanitary system. Any repair or replacement works required shall be at the Client’s cost.

3.2. Swiss Technology Engineering Singapore Pte Ltd shall not be liable for any damage or breakage to existing pipes, fittings, or adjacent systems that are inherent, concealed, or defective within the plumbing and sanitary infrastructure.

3.3. The Client shall assume full responsibility and agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Swiss Technology Engineering Singapore Pte Ltd against all claims, losses, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from:
3.3.1. Water damage, overflow, leakage, or failure of existing piping systems affecting the Client’s premises or surrounding areas;
3.3.2. Damage caused by pipelines that are corroded, sunken, pitted, broken, or otherwise improperly maintained.
